An expedited pickup request is checked in hours, not promised in seconds

Your plans changed and you need your car picked up sooner than a standard window. Tell us the pickup and delivery addresses, the vehicle, and how soon you need pickup; we check which vetted carriers serving that corridor have a truck and legal driving hours free, confirm the price and the window, then you pay. If nothing is available in your timeframe, we say so early enough for you to look elsewhere.

What makes an expedited pickup possible

• A corridor with active carrier traffic. A route between two well-traveled metros is easier to fill quickly than one with thin traffic.
• Driver hours. Federal rules limit property-carrying drivers to 11 hours of driving after 10 consecutive hours off duty, within a 14-hour on-duty window (49 CFR 395, via fmcsa.dot.gov, read 2026-09-21). A driver who just finished a long haul cannot legally take an immediate pickup. We check before promising a window.
• An operable vehicle, ready at the address. A car that starts, moves under its own power, and is accessible to a full-size carrier is far easier to place quickly than one needing special handling.
• Flexible pickup point. A pickup that can happen at a nearby wide street or lot, not only your exact driveway, expands which carriers can take it.

What we will not do

We do not promise a specific hour, and we do not guarantee any pickup or delivery date, expedited or not. We do not name a carrier before one has confirmed it can take your shipment. Of the confirmed local providers we have reviewed to date, none shows online same-day scheduling on its own pages (market-matrix.json, car-shipping/denver-co cell, 2026-09-21); if a same-day pickup is not realistic for your corridor, we tell you that plainly rather than take a request we cannot fill.

Expedited pickup and price

An expedited request is priced like any shipment, using the same drivers described on the cost page; if a carrier applies a short-notice adjustment, it appears as its own line before you pay, never as a surprise afterward.

Questions

• How fast will you respond to my request? During business hours, quickly; we do not publish a minutes figure we have not measured against real requests yet.
• Can I request an expedited pickup for any of the ten metros? You can request it anywhere; whether a carrier can actually take it same-day or next-day depends on the corridor and vehicle, which we check per request.
• Does expedited mean enclosed or special handling? No. Expedited only changes when pickup happens; vehicle type and transport type work the same as a standard shipment.
